Exam One is due by the beginning of class on October13th, Exam Two is due by the beginning of class on November 19th. The final will be also be take home and will be worth 100 points. The final exam is due on December 15th at 10:30 am. 100 points of your grade will be based on your participation in the in class discussions of the research papers. All students are expected to be present, have read and understood the day’s paper and to participate in our discussion in a thoughtful manner. Students who complete all these requirements will receive 5 participation points for that day’s class. Students will also be required to find a research paper covering developmental genetics that we have not discussed in class and write a 3 page paper discussing the research in detail. The details of this assignment will be given out in class. The final papers are due November 10th, with drafts due at earlier dates.
