SNOW REMOVAL BID
NOTE: Bids will be for the 2014-2015 Winter Season
The selected snow removal service (s) will be removing snow and ice from sidewalks that are in violation
of the City of Boone municipal Code 136. Sidewalks will have snow and ice accumulations that have not been
cleared following a snow event.
Commercial sidewalks need to have snow removed 24 hours following a snow event, while in residential
areas snow must be removed 48 hours following a snow event.
The service will need to be able to remove snow and ice accumulations within 24 hours of receiving the
address of a commercial property that is in violation and 48 hours of receiving the address of a residential property
that is in violation. A certificate of liability insurance will be required.
The snow removal service will be required to handle all repairs to snow removal equipment .

will not be held liable or responsible in any way for any property damaged, or any personal injury, while
performing any and all snow/ice removal duties.
