The TESOL Club Peer Mentorship Program. What is the TESOL Club Peer Mentorship Program? It is designed to connect senior TESOL students with incoming students in order facilitate assimilation into the program through networking, professional development, and peer advice on how to succeed in the program and beyond. Why do I need this? It is a good chance to build a network. Having a wide network helps get a job, do assignments, form a group for the group project, get some advice for each subject, and share study guides. For mentors, it looks good on your resume! For mentees, it is good to have someone who can understand your struggles, support you and give advice! How does it work? Sing up for the mentorship program by filling out the mentorship program application form and the TESOL officer will match you up with a mentor or a mentee and let you know your mentor or mentee’s contact information. Then, you can contact your mentor or mentee for meeting up! When is the first mentorship program meeting? 25th Sep, from 11 am to1 pm at Aloha Java café ( the area between Humanity building and University hall) For more information - Contact Hana Jung (714-616-9039 or zezehana@hotmail.co.kr) The TESOL Club Peer Mentorship Program.
