Bid Farewell to DMS and DHS and Browse the School Yard Sale!
Duxbury Public Schools will host an open house from 10am to 2pm on
Saturday, June 21 at Duxbury Middle School and Duxbury High School
for residents and alumni who would like to walk the halls one last time.
Take a “selfie” in front of your old locker, reminisce about your favorite
PE class in the gym of champions, or rekindle those memories of lunch
in the cafeteria!
In addition, a school yard sale will offer surplus furniture, equipment
and miscellaneous items for $5 per item.
The school yard sale will include surplus student desks and chairs, office
furniture, shelves, a/v carts, sports plaques, some art, electronics, maps
and more. All items must be purchased by check payable to Duxbury
Public Schools or cash and must be removed by the purchaser by
2:30pm. For larger items, it is recommended that buyers bring a
handcart. Items that are attached to the walls, floor or ceiling may not
be removed for safety reasons. Children must be supervised. There are
no advance sales.
The two buildings will close to the public with a final flag lowering and
turning out of the lights at 3pm.
