Fondazione Pino Pascali Museo d’Arte Contemporanea address: Via Parco del Lauro, 119 70044 Polignano a Mare (Bari) Italy web:www.museopinopascali.it telephone: +39 080 4249534 The core idea is to establish a strict dialogue among cross-border Nations through a set of cultural actions, aimed at finding out commonalities and discontinuities among peoples sharing the Mare Nostrum of the Adriatic Mediterranean. One exhibition and five versions of it, in different locations and territories, to state the concept of a new linguistic Koinè, capable of translating territorial identities into the dynamics of relationship, open-mindedness and comparison. The artists from different geographical areas, coordinated by a team of curators, headed by the Pino Pascali Museum Foundation, in collaboration with the coordinators of the partner countries, have dealt with such shared topics as stories and narrations, myths and legends, spirituality and religions, migration and nomadism, with the aim to strengthen the idea of a common Europeanness too often forgotten. The exhibition is curated by Antonio Frugis, Pino Pascali Foundation.
