Approval – Amendment to Mental Health/Early Intervention Services Agreement It is recommended the Board approve the revised Action Item originally approved on September 24, 2014 to include the state flat rate for Speech Therapy/Evaluations ATTACHMENT 13.3 ADDENDUM – ADD 4. Acknowledgement – Completion of Induction It is recommended the Board acknowledge the following individuals who have completed the CIU20 Induction Program: Chrisoula Kallinteris-Casagrande Amanda Helman 5. Approval – Salary Revision It is recommended the Board approve the revision of salary for Kimberly Dudley from Step 3 Associate Teacher to Step 4 Associate Specialist, effective February 10, 2015. She was incorrectly recommended at Step 3 when she should have remained Step 4. 6. Approval - New Class/Position It is recommended the Board approve the following new class/positions: a. Part-time Secretary, effective April 22, 2015 in the Human Resources department at the Central Office, 20 hours per week. Position needed to provide the fingerprinting services at Colonial IU 20 Office and district sites, when requested. b. Associate Teacher (1:1), effective April 20, 2015 and will continue until student moves or no longer needs service. The Pocono Mountain School District has requested CIU20 provide an Associate Teacher to meet the individual needs of a student at the Swiftwater Elementary School in the Pocono Mountain School District. ATTACHMENT 13.6.b c. Associate Teacher (1:1), effective April 16, 2015 and will continue until student moves or no longer needs service. The Nazareth Area School District has requested CIU20 provide an Associate Teacher to meet the individual needs of a student at the Washington Elementary School in the Bangor Area School District. Approval – Refinancing of School Lease Revenue Bonds, Series of 2015 It is recommended the Board approve the Borrowing Resolution for the 2015 Bond Issue which refinances the IU’s outstanding School Lease Revenue Bonds, Series of 2005 issued by the State Public School Building Authority for purposes of interest rate savings. The Financing Team is directed to structure the refinancing according to Option One as presented on March 25, 2015 in PFM’s Bank Loan Sale document so as to reflect upfront savings with a fixed rate of 2.29% for a five-year term and a variable rate thereafter with a cap of 2.89%.
