Job Description: Bradford Christian Academy is seeking a Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach for the Fall 2015 season. The Varsity coach will be responsible for the oversight of the boys’ varsity basketball team, including but not limited to; setting the standard of Christian character, good sportsmanship, and integrity. They will be involved with player development both in and out of season, scouting, and recruiting quality student-athletes, program development. The Head Coach will also be responsible to assist with the Prep team as the varsity schedule allows and to be on time for all practices and games. Job Requirements: - - Prior coaching experience at the high school and/or college levels (preferably head coaching experience) Strong commitment to education and athletics and an understanding of NEPSAC rules and regulations. High quality communication skills with students/parents/teachers and administrators AED/CPR/First-Aid Certification Ability to work with the Director of Athletics and BCA Administration Ability to drive team vans and pass a driving test conducted by BCA athletics. Promote athletics and Bradford Christian throughout the community with athletics website, school calendar, photos, FaceBook posts, and press releases in conjunction with BCA development director and marketing department. Pursue excellence as an educator, embracing opportunities for improvement and growth. Set high standards, seek excellence, and coach students to individual and team success. Integrate the Christian world view with subject matter and coaching philosophy, and enjoy working with students. Collaborate with the BCA teaching community, working to grow and strengthen the school, Represent BCA in a positive light in all spheres of influence Subscribe to Standards for Christian Living and be members in good standing at a Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox church.
