OLD HOUSES NEW VISIONS
About Old Houses, New Visions
“Old Houses, New Visions” is the forum for the dissemination of new ideas and best
practice in the development of historic houses within a 21st century
multicultural Britain. Concerned with addressing the key issues in the field, academics
and practitioners come together on a regular basis to consider case studies and to discuss
a variety of topics ranging from matters of funding and practical conservation to the
relevance of historic houses to diverse communities. Through meetings, site visits and the
networking opportunities it provides, “Old Houses, New Visions” is seeking to promote
excellence in the management of these properties for new and established audiences
both now and in the future.
