for
XXIV World Allergy Congress
14-17 October 2015, Seoul, Korea

The World Allergy Organization (WAO) announces Travel Grants for WAO Junior Members to attend the XXIV World Allergy
Congress in Seoul, Korea, 14-17 October 2015.
Applicants for travel grants must meet the following criteria:
1. The applicant must be a World Allergy Organization (WAO) Junior Member. If you need to apply to be a
WAO Junior Member please click here: http://www.worldallergy.org/juniormembers/.
2. The applicant must be within five (5) years of his/her latest degree or be less than 35 years of age.
3. The applicant must submit an abstract. The abstract must be accepted for either a Poster presentation or
Oral Abstract Presentation at the Congress. Please visit the Abstract Submission Homepage to submit
your abstract. Only electronic submissions of abstracts will be accepted.
To apply for a Travel Grant to attend WAC 2015, complete the Travel Grant Application and attach the appropriate supporting
materials. Applications and all supporting materials must be received by 15 May 2015.
Travel grants are available to reduce personal costs involved in attending the Congress. They are not intended to cover
the recipient’s total travel costs.
 Travel grant awards include:
o Complimentary registration to WAC 2015
o 3 nights’ accommodation (covers room and tax only) at the Junior Members Hotel
o WAO Certificate of Award as a Travel Grant Recipient
The World Allergy Congress (WAC) 2015 offers travel grants to WAO Junior Members. The application can
only be made in connection with the abstract submission and must be applied for by the presenting author
of an abstract. Your Junior Member Status must be confirmed by the WAO Secretariat before your
application is considered complete.

Recommendation Letter
A letter of recommendation must be completed by a supervisor, colleague or director with knowledge of the applicant’s skills.
The recommendation letter should comment on the applicant’s research skills and performance, and state the applicant’s
future objectives and prospects within the field of allergy. Please use the attached Travel Grant Recommendation Form to
submit this information.
