Other Required Materials: The course will be enriched by demonstration of various concepts
covered and the media mix will include video clips, audio clips, narrated white board
demonstrations, software demonstrations, hands-on lab assignments, as well as
"commentary". There are a number of "give-away" software demo downloads which you will
have the opportunity to use during the semester. These are free and yours to keep if you like
them.

The standard grading scale of 90-100% equals an “A”, 80-89% equals a B, 70-79% equals a “C”,
60-69% equals a D, and 0-59% equals an F. The passing grade of this course is D.
Late Assignments Policy: Late assignments may be turned in within one week of due date with
a 20% penalty. No assignments will be accepted after the final exam date!!!!
Make-up Exam Policy: You are expected to take all exams on the scheduled days. Make-up
exams are NOT guaranteed, but are granted at the discretion of the instructor. If make-up
exams are necessary, it is necessary to make arrangements with the instructor PRIOR to exam
date. NOTE: There is NO make-up exam for the final.
