Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Provide coordination with MEP and other trades Coordination of conduit and electrical requirements Review pre-construction design and documentation Provide assistance with technical design, bid/service contract pricing, miscellaneous material and labor estimates for proposals Site surveys and space analysis Contribute to, review and approve Project Agreements Responsible for job documentation Establish and maintain positive and effective line of communication with the client Ability to manage medium to large projects Demonstrate job site leadership Ability to test integrated systems and train clients on use Proficiency with test and calibration equipment Insure that the system will perform as represented Assume ownership of project installation when required Sensory Technologies / January 2016 / Confidential 1 Responsible for job documentation Develop & coordinate necessary CAD drawings Coordinate with, and direct lead technician assigned to said project Provide engineering support during project phases Load control system programming updates as needed Develop and write operation manuals and quick start guides Assist with project sign off Trouble shoot A/V systems Ability to diagnose complex system problems Mentor less experienced technical staff Customer liaison in support of Project Manager Meet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate product if requested Assist other departments with technical support issues Provide field service support if required Maintain other duties as requested Qualifications / Success Factors Teamwork – Reaches out to peers and cooperates with supervisors to establish an overall collaborative working relationship. Education and Experience The following education and experience is commonly required in the Installation / Client Services Technician role. Infocomm CTS certified. CTS-D preferred but not required Minimum of 2 years designing integrated A/V systems Biamp and other DSP certifications Knowledgeable of AMX, Crestron, Extron and other A/V Vendor products CAD drawing creation Bid estimating and pricing Ability to think and work independently & meet necessary deadlines Effective interaction with employees, customers and colleagues Attention to detail Problem solving and trouble shooting skills PC proficient Position Reports to: Director of Technical Operations (Indianapolis) & Regional Director (Chicago) Relocation: Assistance available Typical Work Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm.
