On clinic night at River Valley Christian Clinic the
building comes alive with patients and volunteers.
There are usually, over 100 people here to serve or be

GRATEFUL
PATIENTS
Gene and Paula Margison
Paula has been a patient at River Valley Christian Clinic
since January, 2009. Gene has been a patient since
January of this year.
Paula said, “I have been very blessed to have River
Valley Christian Clinic. I could never afford my blood
work or medicine and could not see the doctor as often
as I should. When my husband had to retire in June due
to his health, he lost his insurance at work because we
were unable to pay for it. The clinic immediately
stepped in and took him as a patient and they are taking
very good care of both of us. We are very grateful to all
the volunteers and we are thankful to be able to come
to a place and know that each one there cares about
you and your health. Also it is nice to know that when
Gene and Paula Margison
you walk out of there you always feel better than you
did when you went in, not just in body but in Spirit also.
May God bless each and every one of them always.”
Tammie Butler
Tammie was a patient the first night that the
clinic opened, January 11, 2007 and throughout
that year. She left us for a while and returned
this year in January.
Tammie said, “I have been with River Valley Clinic
for quite a while due to my high medical bills
($100,000+). I cannot work because my health
condition is so bad. I don’t have insurance
because I can’t afford $298 per month. I am so
thankful for River Valley Christian Clinic. They
have helped me so much with medication that I
would otherwise not be able to afford. I have
severe arthritis in my feet and knees, gout and
fasciitis in my feet.Tammie
I have Butler
severe neuropathy in
my legs and feet due to diabetes and I also take
medication for circulation, varicose veins and
blood clot prevention. Thanks again RVCC!”

Spiritual Ministry
There is a minister present at every Thursday night
clinic for patients who need or request prayer. There
are also volunteers who pray with anyone who
requests prayer.
There have been over 700 patients prayed with
privately since recording began in April 2008. In that
time period, 22 patients have given their hearts to
Jesus Christ and 11 patients have re-dedicated their
lives to Jesus.

application or just keep abreast of what’s
happening month-by-month at the clinic.
Patients can get instructions for ordering their
refills on the website. Anyone can learn patient
services guidelines concerning eligibility and view
the poverty guidelines.
The Mission of the
River Valley Christian Clinic
The mission of the RVCC is to provide health care and
spiritual guidance to anyone in the River Valley who
cannot afford to access traditional health care. All
Patients will be treated with dignity and respect.
Services will be provided without regard to race, sex,
age or religion.
