TEAM TEXAS COACH APPLICATION
If you wish to be considered for a Team Texas Coach’s position on one of the National Teams,
please complete the application below and return to Douglas Koger (Men’s Freestyle/Greco
Director), no later than March 6, 2015. All applications must be completed online at:

TXUSA Wrestling will send National Teams to the following events:
Girls (Only girls travel to these events. Seeking women coaches.): USAW Folkstyle National
Championships (March 27-29, 2015, Oklahoma City, OK); ASICS Nationals (July 15 – 22, 2015,
Fargo, ND)
Boys events: Schoolboy/Girl National Duals (June 3- 7, 2015 Indianapolis Indiana), Cadet
National Duals (June 9 – 13, 2015 York, PA), Junior National Duals (June 23-27, 2015 Tulsa,
OK), and Cadet/Junior Nationals (July 18-25, 2015 Fargo, ND).
All coaches must meet the requirements below:
- Current USA Coach’s card
- Bronze certification or higher
- Participate in the workout sessions prior to competition
- Involved in supervising the wrestlers before and while at the events
- Involved with meal planning, practice planning, travel etc.
- Agree to coaches’ code of conduct and applicable policies
- Be in good standing with TXUSA

Would you be willing to attend Team Texas Regional Clinics if scheduled during the period from
March 1, 2015 through May 31, 2015? The idea of the Team Texas Regional Clinics would be to
bring the Team Texas coaches to the wrestlers in advance of the Team Texas competition events,
provide more opportunities for Team Texas wrestlers to train with their coaches and each other,
and market Team Texas. Attendance would be volunteer time with possible reimbursement for
travel expenses (goal would be to reimburse coaches for out of pocket travel and lodging.).
