We welcome you to our service
today, November 1, 2015,
and invite you to join us in worship.
Message today: “Dealing with Doubt # 5 – How Do I Deal with Unanswered Prayer,” Luke 18:1-8 , Tim McAvoy
preaching.
The next midweek service is this Wednesday, November 4. Each evening we gather begins with a fellowship meal
at 6:00 p.m. followed by teaching and activities for all ages (nursery to adult). For the adults, we have two
opportunities.#1. Financial Peace University. This Dave Ramsey course is led by Bill and Dawn Weaver and
teaches you how to manage your money using Biblical principles. For more information, contact Bill and Dawn at
434-973-7575 or 540-828-3333. #2. Kingdom Agenda, Living Life God’s Way – this six week Bible study by Dr.
Tony Evans teaches that the everyday Christian life informed by a Kingdom agenda based on God's Word — rather
than a secular agenda based on man's word — is the best way to make all of life work as our Creator intended. Our
other meeting times for our autumn midweek services are November 18 and December 2.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes: Operation Christmas Child Shoebox collection will be Sunday,
November 15. Shoeboxes and labels have been ordered and will be available next Sunday. For questions, talk to
Marie Meyerhoeffer, 421-7406.
Order your Christmas Poinsettias now to enhance our worship service during Advent and Christmas. Please pick
up an envelope from the foyer or church secretary, fill out your information, and include your check for $12.50 per
plant. This year choose red, white, and pink/white splash. Each 8" pot has 3 plants, wrapped in foil for an overall
height of 20-24". We are to offer these stunning flowers to honor, to memorialize, or as gifts for family and friends.
You may order as many as you like. Deadline for payment is Friday, November 20. Call Natalie at 540-728-0779
with questions or large quantity requests.
Church Membership Discovery Class: Sunday, December 6, following the second morning service (@12:15
p.m.) in the Children’s Church room (Room 106, main hall, right side). This class is for anyone seeking to find out
more about New Beginnings Church, it’s history, beliefs, structure and vision for the future. It is a pre-requisite for
those considering church membership. Please fill out the Connection Card if you plan to attend. Lunch and childcare
