3RD ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL PLASMA AWARENESS WEEK
CELEBRATES PLASMA DONORS

celebrated October 11-17. A joint initiative of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics
Association (PPTA) and its member companies, IPAW is designed to:



Raise global awareness about plasma donation
Recognize the contributions of plasma donors in saving and improving
lives
Increase understanding about lifesaving plasma protein therapies and
rare diseases
Member companies are planning a variety of activities including: donor appreciation
events and open houses for patients, government officials, and the media at more than
500 plasma collection facilities in the U.S. and Europe.

Plasma, a biological material that cannot be manufactured, is used to create lifesaving
therapies that come solely from committed plasma donors. (Enter company name)
