Thank you for competing in the Mr. and Miss PrideFest Pageant
Mr. PrideFest 2013 will receive a Male’s Crown and Sash and will be eligible to compete
for Mr. Wisconsin North America Club.
Miss PrideFest 2013 will receive a crown (one of the biggest in the State) and Sash,
and will also be eligible to compete for Miss Club Wisconsin.

Responsibility of Winners:
1. The winner of Miss PrideFest must compete in the Miss Club Wisconsin
Pageant.
2. The winner of Mr. PrideFest must compete in the Mr. Gay Wisconsin North
America International Club Pageant.
3. Be on PrideFest grounds Friday evening, Saturday Evening & Sunday after
the parade.
4. Be on the PrideFest Float in the 2013 Pride Parade on Sunday.
5. Promote PrideFest throughout the entire year of holding the Mr. & Miss
PrideFest titles.
6. To attend and represent PrideFest at Magic Picnic (Madison Pride) & attend
Chicago Pride Parade.
7. Attend PrideFest Pageant 2014 and Crown and Sash the Winner.
Please Note: There will NOT be electricity available on stage for Talent. Please plan
accordingly
Rules & Regulations PLEASE READ!
1. Contestants must have reached the age of 21 at the time of the contest and be
able to show proof of age. Back up dancers must be 21 or older.
2. Any contestant, dresser, back-up dancer, etc. caught in the act of stealing or
tampering with another contestant’s property will automatically be disqualified
and entry fee will not be returned.
3. Contestants that are competing for Miss PrideFest must complete all categories,
which include:
Interview (Worth up to 30 points)
Talent (Worth Up to 100 points)
Evening Gown (Worth Up to 20 points)
4. Contestants that are competing for Mr. PrideFest must complete all categories,
which include:
Interview (Worth up to 30 points)
Talent (Worth up to 100 points)
Formal Wear (Worth up to 20 points)
5. Talent shall be no more than 5 minutes, with a 2-minute window on each side for
prop set-up and take down.
6. Any prop that is dangerous (ex: fireworks, open flame etc.) to another contestant
or audience member is prohibited and you will be scored a ZERO!
7. The winner of Miss PrideFest will also be required to compete in the Miss Club
Wisconsin State Competition. Not open for discussion or rule change! The winner
of Mr. PrideFest will also be required to compete in the Mr. Gay Wisconsin North
America International Club Competition. Not open for discussion or rule change!
8. Contestants must be checked in at Montage Lounge/La Cage NO LATER THEN
8:30 PM. All contestants should come ready for interview, will start
promptly at 8:30pm. A contestants meeting will be held at this time. This is
when the contestants will pick their numbers to show the order they will compete
in. Registrations Fee for the pageant of $50 is due at this time, cash only.
9. Music will be taken at time of check-in and must be in CD form and you should
have track 1 talent and track 2 should be crowning song.
10. JUDGES WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT REGISTRATION
11. Representatives of PrideFest, their families, or significant others are ineligible
from competing.
12. Pageant Staff reserves the right to make decisions on any matter not covered in
the rules and regulations.
13. At the time of registration the person competing for the title must meet
with Sheena Rae to receive packet. Do not send Dancers, boyfriends,
family etc. to get your packet.
14. All back up dancer will have to pay cover charge to get into La Cage.
Contestants will not have to pay cover charge.
