Women Athletes Business Network Mentoring Program Toh Liying Toh Liying is a Resident with Singhealth Pediatrics, a Sailing coach for Victoria Junior College and a former international Sailing competitor. Toh participated in the 2008 Olympics, was a Silver Medalist at the 2006 Asia Games and a Gold Medalist at the 2005 Southeast Asia Games. From 2005 to 2010 Toh was a Singhealth Ambassador and was awarded the Singhealth Youth Award. From 2004 to 2009 Toh was awarded an Athlete Career Training Scholarship by the Singapore Sports Council. Recently, Toh received the 2014 Singhealth Pediatrics Award for Top doctors in Pediatrics. Toh received her Doctor of Medicine from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She is currently completing graduate work at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School (Class of 2014) in Singapore. From 2012 to 2013, Toh participated in the Duke-NUS Gradate Medical School Program in Emerging Infectious Diseases where she conducted research, including patient recruitment, monitoring of dengue inpatients, data entry as well as data analysis focused on celgosivir an antiviral that fights against acute denge fever. Toh is passionate about helping people, especially children. She holds an annual fundraiser in order to help orphans in Yangon. She has participated in several volunteer medical projects including, Medical and educational volunteer work in Yunnan (Kunming, Cang Yuan and Lin Cang) under Dr Tan Lai Yong for 3 weeks (May 2009), Duke-NUS GMS Project Karen conducting health screenings and medical consultations for adults and children in Chiang Mai region (May 2013), Citramas Batam Health screening together with Pediatricians from Kandang Kerbau Hospital (June 2013).
