AGREEMENT
1. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
1.1. The contractual terms and definitions:
Candidate/Customer - an individual 18 years old and older, for whom English is a second or foreign
language wishing to take a Cambridge international English language test.
Contractor – IH Doha Exams Centre is an authorized Cambridge ESOL centre for international Cambridge
English language tests (information about all authorized Cambridge ESOL centres can be found on
www.cambridgeesol-centres.org/centres/index.do).
Cambridge ESOL international English language test (hereinafter referred to as - international test or
exam) - the process of testing the knowledge of the English language of the candidates in accordance
with the requirements established by the University of Cambridge, from the time of registration of
candidates until receiving the results.
Rules for taking the international test (Regulations) - a written document, which is an integral part of
the agreement that explains the procedure for registering candidates for the international test, taking
the test and receiving the results.
The deadline for registration - a period during which the Contractor registers candidates for the
international test, the agreement is signed and the payment received.
The cost of testing (test fee) - the cost of services carried out by IH Doha Exams Centre for the
international test is defined in the Candidate Registration Form.
2. SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT
2.1. The subject of the agreement is about providing paid services by the Contractor to the Customer in
registering the candidate (s) in the system of Cambridge ESOL and for conducting the international test
in accordance with the conditions laid down in the agreement.
2.2. The schedule for the test day is provided by the Contractor separately.
2.3. The signing of this agreement means that the Customer is aware of and accepts the agreement
conditions.
2.4. The relationship between the Customer, legal representative of a candidate and candidate is not
subject to this agreement.
3. OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES
3.1. Obligations of the Contractor:
3.1.1. To register Candidate (s) in the system Cambridge ESOL provided this agreement is signed and the
full fee is received.

3.1.2. To notify the Customer of the place (full address) and the time of the test provided this agreement
is signed and the full fee is received.
3.1.3. To conduct the international test for registered Candidate (s) within the timeframe established by
the agreement provided this agreement is signed and the full fee is received.
Obligations of the Customer:
3.1.4. To read the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
3.1.5. If the Customer is not a legal representative of the Candidate, the Customer undertakes to inform
the legal representatives about the terms and conditions of this agreement.
3.1.5. To provide full payment for the chosen international test during the registration procedure.
Candidates whose test is not paid are not considered registered and cannot sit the international test.
4. ORDER OF SERVICE
4.1. The Contractor conducts the testing according to the days, location (address) and time reported to
the Customer in accordance with items 3.1.2. of this agreement.
4.2. During the international test all candidates are strictly prohibited:
-to use electronic devices (cell phones, ipads, notebooks, e-dictionaries and any other electronic
devices)
-to talk to other candidates;
-to use prepared notes;
-to disturb other candidates;
-to use any sound or video recording devices.
4.3. Services are considered to be rendered immediately after the test.
5. PAYMENT
5.1. The fee of testing is specified in IH Doha Exams Center Candidate Registration Form.
5.2. Full payment must be made during the registration procedure.
5.3. For the execution of this agreement, the Customer must provide a copy of a document confirming
their identity.
5.4. For bank transfers the date of payment is considered to be the date when money reaches the IH
Doha account.
6. ORDER OF ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICES RENDERED
6.1. The Customer is given 3 days to raise any objections after the test has been administered after
which time, the service is considered to be provided fully and satisfactorily. No objections will be
accepted after this period.
7. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES

7.1. The Contractor returns 100% of the amount paid for services not rendered and in the following
cases:
-The Candidate did not take the international test through fault of the Contractor and the Customer is
unable to sit the test on another date offered by the Contractor; or if a different date has not been
proposed by the Contractor. If the Contractor offered the Candidate another date for testing and has
not received a response within two (2) business days, the new date is considered to be accepted by the
Customer.
- The international test has been canceled by the Contractor due to force majeure (please refer to
section 8).
-The international test has been canceled due to the termination of the agreement by the mutual
agreement between the Contractor and the Customer.
- If the refund request has reached the Contractor before the end of the registration period.
7.2. The Contractor can return the fee to the Payer if the Candidate could not take the international test
due to health reasons. This will have to be confirmed within 5 (business) days after the test date by
submitting a medical certificate that states the dates and reasons for Candidate’s temporary disability. If
the Contractor invited examiners from a different city to conduct the international test, the Contractor
has the right to deduct the pro-rata amount as compensation. Pro-rata compensation is counted on the
proportional basis of the total number of candidates to the money spend on the invited examiner.
7.3. Refunds are made on completion of the forms provided by the Contractor.
7.4. The Contractor shall not reimburse the money in the following cases:
-If a Candidate or his/her legal representative is not satisfied with the results achieved;
-If a Candidate has been asked to leave the test due to a breach of test regulations;
7.5. Responsibility of the Contractor to the Customer is limited to the test fee paid.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
8.1. Parties are not responsible for partial or complete failure to perform its obligations hereunder if
such failure is caused by an event of force majeure such as: fire, flood, earthquake, storms, landslides,
and similar natural phenomena; also war, fighting, siege, government actions, epidemics, strikes, and
other extraordinary circumstances that prevent the execution of the agreement, provided that such
event directly interferes with the Party, is outside the control of the Party, and cannot be avoided.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
9.1. The agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of
Qatar.
9.2. All disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the agreement shall be settled by means
of negotiations.

9.3. If the Parties are unable to resolve the disputes and differences through negotiations, they will be
submitted to the court at the location of the Contractor.
10. SPECIAL CONDITIONS
10.1. The Parties agree that written communication through SMS messages and by e-mail are acceptable
forms of communication.
11. FINAL PROVISIONS
11.1. The agreement shall enter into force on the date of its signing and shall be valid until the Parties
fulfill their obligations.
11.2. All changes and additions to the agreement shall be made in writing and are an integral part of it.
11.3. Agreement is made in duplicate, one copy for each Party, which have the same legal force.
11.4. The candidates will receive their results 6 weeks after taking the test.
11.5. If the Candidate is not satisfied with the results achieved after the international test the Customer
has the right to appeal to Cambridge ESOL within 1 week (5 business days) after receiving the results.
12. DECLARATION
I understand that all individuals who want to take a Cambridge English exam are required to agree to all
of the Terms and Conditions (a copy of which has been provided by the centre).
I wish to be admitted for the selected Cambridge English exam at the centre listed on this form and for
the date listed here. I will bring a valid photo ID with me on the test day, and I consent to have my photo
taken by the centre on the day of the Speaking test and/or the written papers. I agree for this photo to
be held on the secure Cambridge English Language Assessment Results Verification site and viewed as
set out below if I give my agreement.
Additionally, if I use my exam result for a visa/immigration application I agree for the exam result to be
available on other sites shown at http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/cambridge-english-for/visas-andimmigration/ if I give my consent.
I hereby authorise the following to access my information.
The photo shall only be available to organisations/individuals that I give my details to or that I authorise
to view my result.
By signing this form I declare that I am aware of and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions for
this exam.
