Peek-a-Boo Bright Hopes Baby Quilt Supply List Size: 38" x 44" Supplies Rotary cutter, mat, and rulers (for best results, bring a 18" x 24" mat and a 6" x 24" ruler plus a smaller rotary ruler such as 6" x 6" or 4" x 8") Sewing machine with neutral thread and wound bobbins, 1/4" foot (if you have one) Small scissors or snips, pins, seam ripper Fabrics For the rectangles that frame the center squares, select four different colors in the same value or two values each of two different colors. For the center squares, gather an assortment of all-over prints as well as those with isolated motifs, approximately 2" – 2 1/2" in size. Bring extra to swap with others. 1/2 yard each of four fabrics for rectangles (plus 1/2 yard of each for an optional prairie point edging) 3/4 yard total of assorted novelty prints for center squares 1 1/2 yards for backing* 1/2 yard for binding* (if not using prairie point edging) *Not needed in class. Tip: Choose the novelty fabrics first, and then choose the other fabrics.
