A Celebration of Craft hosted by Viscount Linley
The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) is delighted to announce our inaugural a fundraising dinner to
raise funds to help QEST in their aim of sustaining British heritage through excellence in craftsmanship.
The Cause
QEST funds the education of talented craftspeople through traditional college courses, apprenticeships or oneto-one training with master craftsmen. The charity was established by the Royal Warrant Holders Association in
1990, in celebration of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mothers 90th birthday in order to maintain traditional craft
skills that are so vital to Britain’s heritage.
With Her Majesty’s Patronage officially commencing in 2016, and both Viscount Linley and Lord Salisbury
joining QEST as Vice Patrons, we will be kicking off what is set to be a very exciting year for QEST with a
fundraising dinner hosted by Viscount Linley on February 25 th 2016.
