At Stratford Hills, Stratford St Mary, Nr Colchester (just off A12 on B1068)

The course may be walked between 2 and 7pm on Saturday 4th July 2015.
Class 1
Pony Club Level 2 (Equivalent to BE80)
Dressage Test: Pony Club Novice Eventing Test 2013
Show Jumping and Cross Country approx 0.80m (2ft 6”)
Class will be divided as appropriate.
Class 2
Pony Club Level 3 (Equivalent to BE90)
Dressage Test: Pony Club Novice Eventing Test 2013
Show Jumping and Cross Country approx 0.90m (3ft)
Class will be divided as appropriate.
Class 3
Pony Club Level 4 (Equivalent to BE100)
Dressage Test: PC Intermediate Eventing Test 2015
Show Jumping and Cross Country approx 1.00m (3ft 3”)
Class will be divided as appropriate.
Entry Fees:
Class 1: Pony Club Members £22.00; Non Members £25.00
Classes 2 & 3: Pony Club Members £25.00; Non Members £30.00
Entries may be restricted. Late entries £5 extra - please phone Secretary.

A bib will be required for your competitor number. These will be available for purchase @ £10 on the day

The competition will be run under Pony Club Eventing Rules 2015. Competitors are deemed to know the rules and any
infringement will incur elimination. By entering this event, competitors have agreed to be photographed by the professional
photographer whilst competing.
All competitors must at all times when mounted wear a hat with the chinstrap fastened that conforms to current PC standard
and for Pony Club members is tagged with a PC hat tag (available on day). For the cross country phase, all competitors must
wear a body protector to current PC standard and a medical armband.
PC Members may only wear spurs with the written permission of their DC or if they have passed their B Test.
Misuse of whips and/or spurs will be severely penalised.
On the ground, only the competitor may ride the pony on which he/she is competing.
Horses and ponies must be at least 5 years old.
No horse/pony may compete in more than one class.
Any outside interference or assistance will result in elimination.
No stop watches or time pieces to be worn.
All dogs to be kept on short leads.
All non PC members must have their own insurance.
Competitors eliminated on the cross country phase MUST immediately leave the course at walk.
Entry fees will not be refunded after closing date for entries.
Please do not leave litter or skip out boxes.
Multiple rider entries will only be accepted at organisers’ discretion.
The Judge’s decision is final. Objections must be made in writing and accompanied by £20 deposit within 20 minutes of the
results being displayed. The deposit will only be refundable if the objection is sustained.
Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible,
neither the organisers of this event nor the Pony Club accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to
horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, horseboxes, trailers, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property
whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
HEALTH AND SAFETY - the organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of
everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent
accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
