The session will cover the structure, theory, history and realities of a system designed with a Master Plan in mind, but which has also proven to be quite vulnerable to the influences of economics, politics and culture over the years. The work of the Task Force and the resulting efforts to prioritize enrollment will be discussed. 9:45 a.m. Panel Presentation: Strategic Enrollment Management in Transition—Proven Best Practices Panelists: Judy Miner, President, Foothill College/Foothill-DeAnza CCD Judy will provide on an overview of strategic integrated Enrollment Management as implemented at the Foothill DeAnza CCD. Ross Miyashiro, Dean of Admissions and Records, Long Beach CCD Ross will discuss the proven best practices of managing enrollment from the Student Services perspective. Christina Espinosa-Pieb, Vice President Instruction, DeAnza College Christina will utilize the Participant’s cohort structure to lead an interactive exercise teaching the calculations involved decisionmaking and effective enrollment management at the district level. Our panelists will share extensive research and data, as well as their own perspectives and experiences in creating and sustaining successful enrollment management programs on their campuses.
