Student permits expire annually; therefore, students must go through the permit application process each year.
A valid parking permit is required for all students and employee motorized vehicles parking on campus, this includes motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles.
Students may receive ONE parking sticker permit and a bicycle and/or a motorcycle permit if needed.
A permit holder may only park in lot within the assigned zone. Exceptions to permit assignments will be handled on a per case basis.
Student permits do NOT allow for parking in employee lots, visitor parking and other reserved stalls.
A copy of the Parking and Traffic Policies brochure will be handed out with each permit. Please take a few minutes and read through the policies as it contains
pertinent information. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to understand the policies for parking on campus and to contact Parking Services if you have any
questions or concerns.
Holders of state issued ADA permits are allowed to park in all non-reserved stalls on campus in either student or employee lots. Concordia students and employees
still need to register their vehicles through Parking Services even if an ADA permit is displayed. This allows Parking Services a way to contact the permit holder if
necessary.
There are several timed parking stalls for general use by students, employees and visitors. These stalls are located in the KA lot adjacent to Lorentzsen and in the KC
lot adjacent to the Bookstore.
Visitor parking stalls are reserved for off campus guests. Concordia employees and students parking in visitor or other specifically reserved stalls will be ticketed.
Fire Lanes across campus are designated with signage and yellow paint on the curbs. It is against policy to park in these areas and vehicles are likely to be towed as
it is a life safety issue.
Parking Permit Registration begins August 21, 2014

You may begin applying online August 21, 2014, for a permit for academic year 2014-15.
Parking permit application login is located on the Parking Services webpage (www.cord.edu/parking) OR copy and paste the following link in your web browser http://www.cord.edu/Offices/Facilitiesmanagement/Services/parking.php
You will need to login with your Concordia College username and password. If your login is not accepted, please contact Parking Services.
Once logged in, the Home Page of MyParking Navigation has the link to “Apply for a Permit”. Please do not click on “Update My Permits” as this will update an
expired permit and not what you want to do.
Please go through the process and complete the application form. Please select the parking lot from the application pull down list that best fits where you will be
living. If living off campus, choose the Overflow (O) lot.
Required fields are designated with a [*], a license plate # is part of the required field. An error will occur if you do not fill it in. If you have a temporary license plate
(i.e. new vehicle purchase), please type in the word “TEMP” for your license plate number and when your new license plate arrives, go in and update your vehicle
information through the online system.
The final MyParking screen allows you to print a temporary permit. Please print off one copy and place face up on the driver’s side dash in your vehicle.
Once you have applied on-line, you may pick up your permit at a table in the Knutson Campus Center Wednesday-Friday, September 3rd - September 5th between 10
am – 3 pm. Bring a picture id when you pick up your assigned permit.
Beginning Monday, September 8th, please stop by the Parking Services office between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The office is located in the
Mugaas Plant Operations Center at 801 S. 6th St.
Please direct all questions, comments or concerns to Parking Services at 218-299-3267 or parking@cord.edu.
