Students will dress in business attire, research their interviewer, and attend a 20-minute mock interview, which will be followed
by five to ten minutes of constructive feedback on the student’s interviewing style.
This is a great opportunity for students to improve their interviewing skills and meet a practicing attorney!
To schedule an Alumni Mock Interview, you must do ALL of the following:
1.
Register for Symplicity, upload your resume, agree that you have read and will follow the 2015 Alumni Mock Interview
Participation and Cancellation Policy in full, and “apply” for the “2015 Alumni Mock Interview Program.” The deadline to
apply to participate in the 2015 Alumni Mock Interview program on Symplicity is noon Friday, January 16.

lawcareers@sandiego.edu before noon on January 20th.
3.
We will confirm by email your completion of the two above requirements the morning of January 21. Then you may
sign up for an interview date and time via Symplicity between 10 am on Wednesday, January 21 and 10 am on
Thursday, January 22. By selecting an interview time, you are agreeing that you have read and will follow the Participation
and Cancellation Policy in full and that you attended (or were excused from attending) a presentation of “How to

AmeriCorps JD Program
In past years, the Summer Corps program has given AmeriCorps education awards to law students serving during the summer
only. Now law students can earn education awards throughout the year. Because of the expansion, AmeriCorps will now refer
to the program as “AmeriCorps JD.”
Law student slots throughout the school year will be available for placements where students provide legal assistance to lowincome and homeless veterans or victims of disasters. Students can serve in any nonprofit organization, but they must be
supervised by a licensed attorney.
Please note that students receiving school credit for their service must get permission from their school’s administration to also
receive an AmeriCorps education award. Students who receive compensation in excess of $4,300 for their service are not
eligible.
