French Play in Cambridge Thursday 13/11/2014 7.45pm Cambridge Arts
Theatre
I am writing to inform you that the French Department team would like to take
6th Form French linguists to Cambridge Arts Theatre on Thursday 13th November to
see the critically acclaimed adaptation of Molière’s play “The Hypochondriac”. This
represents an excellent opportunity to discover this comedy masterpiece by France’s
most famous playwright, and it would provide students with useful background as
Cultural Life in France is part of the A level course.
Year 12 and 13 linguists, accompanied by Mr Maringue (or Mr Durling) and Ms
Pearson will travel by train from Thetford station after school. The expected return
time is 23.30 at the latest (exact train times to be confirmed) and pick up should be
arranged from Thetford Station.
The cost is £35 per student including tickets and transport.
Please return the reply slip as soon as possible so we can proceed with bookings.
