Applications are invited for a vacancy in the Stroke Medicine training programme at ST4,
ST5 or ST6 within Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust, East Midlands, with post
commencing between August – October 2014. These posts would be an excellent
opportunity to increase your expertise in all aspects of Stroke Medicine.
Approval for Stroke Subspecialty training has been granted by the JRCTB.
Prior to applying for this post you are advised to discuss the option of out of programme
experience / training with your training programme director and/or Head of School. You will
be asked to provide evidence of Deanery approval for OOPT/E at the time of interview.
We would expect you to have a clinical background as a middle grade from an appropriate
parent speciality. (Geriatric Medicine, Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Clinical
Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Cardiology, General Internal Medicine, Acute Internal
Medicine, as stated in the Person Specification)
