Seller and Buyer agree that the above described puppy is a purebred Miniature American Or Australian
Shepherd and is being sold as pet/companion quality, unless otherwise stated and breeding rights is checked and initialed by Seller. Breeding rights are given ONLY to homes found suitable by seller and
ONLY to Breeding/Show puppies.
Puppy is warrantied only for the purpose of being a pet/companion animal. Although the puppy may have exceptional structure and may be capable of excellence in the show ring, no warranty is being given for the purpose of breeding or showing of said puppy. If used for breeding, (only if given breeding rights) the sellers ask that the buyers do so responsibly. Breeder/Seller does not guarantee the size of the puppy to remain within the size standards.
Breeder/Seller reserves the right to refuse sale of any of our puppies to anyone.

The puppy will not be delivered or picked up until full payment is received and puppy is at least 8 weeks of age.
Full payment for the puppy is required to be paid in full, including shipping costs if applicable, no later than 7 weeks of age. Checks must be cleared prior to pick up or shipping. Puppies not picked up and/ or shipped by 9 weeks of age are subject to a $5.00 per day boarding fee at the discretion of the breeder plus any medical treatment deemed necessary. And these fees must be paid before delivery of puppy.
If puppy must be shipped to buyer, Buyer agrees to pay shipping costs which will include airfare, transport to shipping center, cost of a travel/airline approved crate, and veterinary health certificate. Seller agrees to make all necessary airline shipping arrangements after payment has been received. Ground transport is solely up to the buyer. Puppy will be transported by a pet safe airline to a destination airport as close to the buyer’s location as possible. Cost will be subject to current airline rates. The specific flight departure time will be determined by availability and in the best interest of the puppy. (fewest stops, shortest travel time, etc.)

Health Guarantee: Seller warrants that the puppy is free of communicable diseases, is in good health, and is of stable temperament having been well socialized. Puppy will have received his/her’s first set of vacinations and worming. Buyer is obligated to have the puppy examined at Buyers expense by a licensed veterinarian to verify general health within 48 hours from the date of pick up, delivery and /or shipment. Failure on the part of the Buyer to have the puppies health verified will result in any and all warranties being canceled/nulled/void. Seller accepts no liability for any communicable diseases after 24 hours from when the puppy leaves the possession of seller. If the puppy does not pass a general health exam, Buyer agrees to notify breeder/seller via email or phone within 24 hours of veterinary examination and provide a copy of the original signed licensed veterinary statement of health.
These provisions expire 48 hours from the time the Buyer receives said puppy in their possession. Minor, treatable problems, such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, parasites, giardia, etc. are common problems in puppies, especially under the stress of new circumstances, and will not be covered by this warranty, although every effort is made to prevent this. The seller is in no way responsible for the effects of any stress related illness due to the puppies travels. The seller reserves the right to have a second veterinarian of choice evaluate the puppy’s condition before the warranty will be honored.
Warranty: Seller warranties this puppy free from Genetic defects such as MDR1, or DM that would prevent the puppy from being a companion animal, until the puppy reaches one year of age. If the puppy is found to have a genetic defect (2 mutated genes) of this kind, this must be verified by a licensed veterinarian. If a genetic disorder is found, the buyer may choose to either, return the puppy to the seller at the buyers expense and the seller will then replace the puppy with one of the same sex and coat color from the first available litter

(replacement puppy to be determined by seller), OR the buyer may choose to keep the puppy. Under no circumstances will money be refunded. This contract will only be valid if the breeder is actively breeding Miniature
American/Australian Shepherds. Should the seller discontinue breeding dogs of this variety, this contract shall be void.
The seller can not make any guarantees regarding loss of this puppy due to accidental death, theft or other loss once the puppy is placed with the buyer.
Buyer acknowledges that seller is not responsible for buyer’s veterinary expenses or other puppy expenses at any time or under any circumstances. Buyer hereby releases Breeder/Seller and agrees to hold harmless for any liability, injuries or damages to persons, animals or property caused by this puppy. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the continued health, temperament, conduct, and appearance of the puppy when the puppy leaves the premises of Breeder/Seller.
The Buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization schedule, heartworm prevention (only if prevalent in your area), good diet and a clean and safe environment. Failure to do so will cause this contract to become null and void. The buyer agrees to care for the puppy in a responsible manner, to include protection from traffic and the elements, and provide the opportunity for exercise, a guarantee not to be resold to a pet store, or a medical research facility.
The puppy must not be allowed to become obese as determined by a veterinarian, or to regularly participate in prolonged strenuous exercise (such as jogging) before 18 months or to regularly jump to or from high places (such as pick up trucks).
The Seller recommends that the buyer attend obedience classes with their new puppy and provide proper socialization after all immunizations have been given.
The Seller also highly recommends that the puppy be kept on the NuVet Vitamin supplement program that the
Seller has already put into place. Studies have shown that when puppies receive antioxidant supplements, immune response to vaccination dramatically improves. If at any point in the future, the buyer cannot keep the puppy that is still in good health, the Breeder/Seller agrees to assist in finding the puppy a new home or will take the puppy back (no money will be given to the Buyer).
This contract is non-transferable. Should the Buyer relinquish the ownership of the puppy, this contract is null and void. In case of litigation, the venue shall be initiated in the county of the Breeder/Seller’s residence.
Failure to comply strictly with all of the foregoing requirements will result in termination and revocation of this contract at the discretion of the breeder.
This contract is signed and will be adhered to by both the Buyer and the Seller for the well being of the puppy.
