Part I. Student Promise and Scholarship Information
If awarded an SJC Foundation Scholarship I, ______________ (print your name), agree to adhere to my Scholarship

scholarship reception. Failure to submit a thank-you letter will affect my eligibility for future Foundation Scholarships.

Recipients are selected on multiple criteria and funds are limited. Not all qualified applicants will receive an award.
Awards are posted on WebAdvisor and students will be notified via an award letter from the financial aid office.
Scholarships are generally awarded for the academic year, split equally between fall and spring semesters.
Failure to meet individual scholarship eligibility criteria may result in immediate cancellation of award.
Renewal of scholarships is not automatic; students must apply each academic year to be considered.
Through the generous assistance of local families, organizations, and businesses the SJC Foundation provides thousands of dollars of
financial assistance to SJC students every year. Upon acceptance of an SJC Foundation Scholarship the SJC Foundation Office
requires recipients to adhere to all scholarship criteria. In addition, recipients are to submit a letter of appreciation to donors to the
Financial Aid Office and attend a Scholarship Reception held during the spring semester. The Foundation Office will contact you
with further instructions.
