Presenter Biography’s Bob Langdon Since beginning his consulting practice in 1981, Bob Langdon, author of Managing Your Business for Profit, has been assisting businesses in identifying and achieving their sales, marketing and financial goals. Gaining comprehensive business skills working in public accounting for PricewaterhouseCoopers, assisting on the boards of several closely held companies, and serving as vice president and general manager for a rapidly expanding, retail and wholesale distribution company, enables Bob to understand the problems of the entrepreneur. Speaking numerous times in the jan-san industry the past five years enables Bob to understand the challenges and opportunities we face. Dana Weaver is a former business owner and senior executive, who resides in his hometown, Houston. A certified public accountant, Weaver graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas – Austin. He began his professional career as a senior auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. From 1977 until 2004, he and a partner co-owned The ABS Companies, where he served as president of the $150 million facility maintenance company, the leading privately-owned company of its kind in the United States. Under Weaver’s leadership, the company of more than 6,000 employees grew to serve customers in 13 states and 23 metropolitan markets. Following the sale of ABS Companies in June, 2004, Weaver was brought in by a private equity group to serve as president of Symtx, Inc. of Austin, Texas, where he worked with the CEO to return the company to profitability, and led a successful liquidity event. Symtx served the outsourced test engineering market and employed 125 engineers (mechanical, electrical and software) to manufacture functional test equipment for the satellite communication and defense industries. Currently working as a consultant and investor, Weaver also serves on the Board of Directors of several companies across the United States. J. Michael Horgan is a Managing Partner of the NSA and President of Hurley of America Inc. He splits his time between his two residences in Toronto Canada and Boynton Beach Florida. Michael has enjoyed a highly successful business career in large building maintenance and services contracting. He created and built the Hurley Group Canada which owned Hurley Corporation, Canada and Hurley of America, Boston. For fifteen years he served as Managing Partner of the Hurley Group. During his distinguished career he served actively on business associations including President of Building Service Contractors Association Internationals (BSCAI) and Building Maintenance Contractors Association of Canada. He also served as Industry Association Chairman, Pay Equity Reform, Province of Ontario. Michael has and an extensive record of voluntary community services to a number of well-known health services and educational institutions.
