Medical/other surgical outliers. Luccombe provides care to all clients over 16 years of age. Access to unit is predominately via A and E. All skeletal fractures, or suspected fractures. Either traumatic or non-traumatic in nature. Treatments for Osteomylitis. Prosthetic rejection. Alverstone provides care to all clients over 16 requiring planned joint surgery ie. Hip replacement, knee replacement, shoulder surgery. Day surgical procedures, excision of ganglion, arthroscopy, meniscectomy.
