It provides a comfortable and tolerable friendly user modality for children or uncooperative patient. It gives accurate results for Brain, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Abdomen and Pelvis, Biliary Tract imaging as well as MR Arteriography and Venography. This examination is designed to give both patients and doctors exactly what they want in terms of quality and accuracy. It also offers a comfortable, relaxed scanning environment with excellent images. The device comes with a wide-open patient space and fast scanning capability, along with high resolution and detailed images. Such an examination helps to eliminate feelings of anxiety by giving a space 3 times wider than a traditional MRI scanner, along with a 360-degree view. It is ideal for patients who are physically challenged and children who can’t be confined in tight spaces or who need parents next to them during the examination. It helps provide a very patient-friendly atmosphere that is not found everywhere. --------------CT Scan Advaclinic’s CT Scan equipment from Siemens comes with the latest Radiation Dose Reduction Technology which is safer for the patient’s health. It is designed so that Doctors examine the patient from top to bottom, using state of the art MPR technology and best software for whole body angiography and diagnoses. The CT Scan equipment used comes with a special Dental Package. This package is especially useful for any Dental Center specialized for teeth implants. The Samation emotion quality in this device allows for high end image quality which in turn leads to more accurate diagnoses. The ultra fast-ceramic detector also allows for high speed results without a compromise on quality. The CT scan equipment is also compact in size thus allowing for more efficiency, alongside a friendlier environment. ------------- CT Guidance Biopsy with intervention by Consultant Interventional Radiologist A CT Guided Biopsy is a procedure used for obtaining a small piece of tissue from an area that looks potentially abnormal. In this procedure the CT Scanner is used to guide the Doctor to the right area to obtain the tissue. The first part of the procedure is a standard CT Scan. Following the scan, the doctor proceeds to perform the Biopsy. Having identified the area that might be abnormal with the scan, the skin overlying this area is cleaned thoroughly and then some local anesthetic is given into the skin to numb this area. Further local anesthetic is introduced deeper to the skin down towards the abnormal area to minimize any discomfort. The specimens of tissue taken during the biopsy will be immediately sent to the Pathology Laboratory where the tissue will be processed and looked at. A result will be sent from the Pathology Laboratory to the Consultant who requested the CT Guided biopsy in the first place. After this point a diagnoses is made. --------------Breast Care Center Advaclinic’s Breast Care Center offers CR Digital Mammography, Ultrasound with Elastography, Stereotactic Breast biopsy, and Breast MRI, all these serve to offer early diagnoses for any abnormality in the breast tissue. CR Digital Mammography Using top of the line technology from Planmed Sophie Classic, the result is a cost-effective solution for mammography. Thoughtful ergonomic design and fully motorized functions minimize the strain for the operator and the patient. The devices’ compact designs also allow for a friendlier and more spacious environment. Furthermore, the lines and comfortable skin covers provide improved patient comfort alongside other advanced technical features, like high frequency generator and high speed tube, thus resulting optimal image quality. Ultrasound Elastography The ultrasound elastography offers increased sensitivity for assessment of malignant nodes. Ultrasound elastography used in conjunction with conventional ultrasound demonstrates axillary lymph nodes (ALNs) and differentiates benign from malignant nodes. The method also potentially increases the sensitivity of identifying abnormal nodes for biopsy. Elastography is based on the principle that malignant tissue is stiffer than non-malignant tissue. A conventional ultrasound can be used with some additional software for the Elastography. Breast Biopsy A Stereotactic breast biopsy removes a sample of breast tissue that is looked at under a microscope to check for tumors. A breast biopsy helps Doctors to see if a breast lump or a suspicious area seen on a mammogram is cancerous (malignant) or noncancerous (benign). Testing a biopsy sample is the only reliable way to find out if cancer cells are present. Breast MRI The breast MRI is capable of detecting early breast cancer with 94%-100% sensitivity. IDXA Body Analysis This test serves to define body composition using measurement tools that offer more complete and precise information that can help support diagnoses and guide treatment, and can even help athletes make decisions on the training regimens they use to achieve the best performance. Body composition measurement with DXA can look beyond weight and traditional body mass index (BMI) to determine body fat distribution, which is an important risk factor in a variety of serious diseases. Information from DXA exams can prove valuable in conditions such as: Obesity These are causes of osteoporosis and weight loss. Body Composition Analysis Bone Densitometry Analysis Weight Monitoring Sports Performance Analysis IDXA Bone Analysis With GE’s direct-to-digital technology, Lunar IDXA provides extra-crisp images. In fact, it is comparable to radiographs in identifying and classifying vertebral deformities concerning etiology, grade, and shape of bones, but with a lower dose than conventional X-ray. Lunar IDXA’s latest-generation DXA technology also delivers enhanced precision. Greater precision provides the ability to detect small and statistically significant changes in bone mass in its early stages, which in turn guides treatment decisions, or reduces the sample size required for clinical trials.
