Principal Marine Ecologist
Hugh is a Principal Marine Ecologist with significant experience in
marine systems and processes throughout Australia and
Internationally. He has published 41 scientific papers in
international journals, nine book chapters and nearly 50 reports.
Hugh currently maintains numerous positions on expert review
panels, government advisory committees and scientific working
groups. His expertise is often required where major projects pose
significant risks to sensitive marine environments, such as seagrass
meadows, coral and algal dominated reefs and mangrove
communities.
