GENERAL
Students/Staff – School Picture MAKE UP day/Staff Picture day is Wednesday, September 16th. Students need to sign
up in the attendance office. This is necessary to receive your student ID Card ~ You will not be able to check out
textbooks without your student ID.
Seniors! You can still buy your senior parking pass for only $25 from Mrs. Jewell. Senior girl sweatshirts are only $20
and senior class sweatshirts are $25. The order forms and money are due to Mrs. Jewell in B3 by this
Wednesday 9/16.
Deadline to submit senior photos are Wednesday September 30th.
The first meeting of Key Club will take place today after school in Mrs. Peters’ room B-8. Please note this is a change in
room location from last year.
The Lake City Game Creator Club will start today @ 2:30 in Room C11. See Mr Jacobson for more details
There will be a brief golf meeting today right after school in Coach Anderson’s room D-3. Any male golfer
who cannot make it needs to see Coach Anderson beforehand and any girl who can’t make it needs to see
Coach Owen beforehand.
There will be a brief wrestling meeting for any wrestler who is not involved in a fall sport this Thursday,
September 17th right after school in Mrs. Owen’s room C-4. If you cannot make it you need to see Coach
Owen.
Mardi Gras Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, September 25th from 7-10pm. The tickets are $7 with ASB, $10 without
ASB, and $10 at the door. Bags are NOT allowed in the dance! Make sure to bring your student ID
Are you passionate about art? Then art club is for you. Come on down every Thursday to room Art 2 2:30 to
3:30. Prepare for fun.
Today will be the first meeting of the Gender & Sexuality Alliance Club (formerly known as Gay-Straight Alliance). We
meet to promote human rights, discuss LGBTQ issues and provide support for all students. Meet in Ms. Chapman’s art
room after school, today, September 15. So come to GSA - we have snacks!
The Lake City Kickball Classic is back and on Friday! Grab your friends and sign up at lunch for kickball! Each team needs
8-10 players. The team fee is $2 per person. Get your paperwork at lunch. If you have any questions, contact the
sophomore student council members or Mr. Williams in C16. All paperwork and money is due to Mr. Williams on

Thursday 9/17. The Kickball tournament is Friday at 2:30pm.
Softball preseason (player only) meeting will be held Tuesday September 22 nd 3 to 4 at the hitting facility.
• Food drive at the Homecoming Football game on Friday, September 25th! Make sure to drop off any food
or monetary donations at the gates during the game!
Girls Basketball Open Gym Wednesday and Sunday’s at 7:00 pm.
