The first Table ts01 lists the sediment chemistry, concentrations of 54 major and trace elements in sediments of all samples of the six sampling sets collected from 2004 to 2008. This table provides all data set supporting the manuscript. The second Table ts02 is a comparison of concentrations of 42 elements of the same sample S40 measured at the Service d’Analyse des Roches et des Mineraux at Nancy (SARM, France) and the University Pierre and Marie Curie (France). Both analysis give identical result for almost all of elements. ts01.txt. Sample list, geochemistry of sediments, concentrations of major and trace elements in sediments of the Seine Basin. ts02.txt. Concentrations of both major and trace elements in the sample S40 of the Seine River. Measurements at the Service d’Analyse des Roches et des Mineraux at Nancy (SARM, France) and the University Pierre and Marie Curie (France) show almost identical results for almost of all elements. The differences for some elements may not influence the general discussion and interpretation of data in the text.
