Medicine and Community Health Academy Gap Statements/Goals READING GAP STATEMENTS FOR ALL STUDENTS 35.5% of all students scored at or above proficiency on the state's required reading assessment, leaving a 32.5 % gap between our school's proficiency rate and the state's proficiency rate of 68%. (STATE) 14% of all students met or exceeded the district's incremental growth target on the fall 2014 NWEA MAP reading assessment, leaving a gap of 42.1% between our school and the district's incremental growth target of 56.1% for the 2017-2018 school year. ACHIEVEMENT DATA TREND ANALYSIS (3 YEARS) READING- 2011-12 was the first year participating in state assessments. MCH has shown a growth of 7% in Reading from the 2011-12 school year on the MME Assessment. WRITING- 2011-12 was the first year participating in state assessments. MCH has shown a decline of 2% in Writing from the 2011-12 school year on the MME Assessment. MATHEMATICS- 2011-12 was the first year participating in state assessments. MCH has not shown a growth or decline in proficiency in Mathematics from the 2011-12 school year on the MME Assessment. SCIENCE- 2011-12 was the first year participating in state assessments. MCH has shown a growth of 1% in Science from the 2011-12 school year on the MME Assessment. SOCIAL STUDIES-Medicine and Community Health Academy has remained stagnant in social studies state assessments over the last 3 years and has shown no growth since 2009-10 school year on the MEAP Assessment .
