The three regions of Arizona

Arizona became the 48th state on February 14th, 1912,
Valentine’s Day. That is why it’s called the love state and the
baby state. It is located in the southwest of the United States.
There are many places to visit like the salt lake river, the Gila
River, the Grand Canyon, and the Hoover dam. Arizona is
divided I to three regions: desert, plateau, and mountains.
The desert is the biggest region in Arizona. The many cities
of the desert are: Phoenix (capital city), Tucson, Yuma, Nogales,
Sierra Vista, and Kingman. Yeah I know a lot of cities. Arizona’s
desert contains the homes of many species of plants and
animals here are some: Palo Verde trees, mesquite trees,
saguaro cactus (state flower),barrel cactus, prickly pear, cholla
(don’t know how to pronounce, by the way.) coyote, javelin,
bobcat, road runner, cactus wren ( state bird ), etc. the
weather is hot and dry year round.
The plateau region is located in the in the right hand
corner of Arizona. In the southwest corner of the Colorado
Plateau lies the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River. Much of
the Plateau's landscape is related, in both appearance and
geologic history, to the Grand Canyon. The nickname "Red
Rock Country" suggests the brightly colored rock left bare to the
view by dryness and erosion. Domes, hoodoos, fins, reefs,
goblins, river narrows, natural bridges, and slot canyons are only
some of the additional features typical of the Plateau. Desert
animals might be able to live in this region if they can cope with
the weather which is windy and slightly less colder than the
mountain region which I will talk about …… NOW!
The mountain region is located in the middle of Arizona.
The cities of the mountain regions are: Sedona and flagstaff.
There is not a lot of life in this region so I could say all of them.
Here they are! Bighorn sheep, pine tree bobcat blueberry
bushes. Did I forget to tell Humphries peak the tallest mountain
in Arizona is located in the mountain region? Well it seems as if
I’ve given enough information so it looks like it’s the end. No I’m
just kidding here the real one
