College Panhellenic Association Meeting Minutes 2.4.15 The regular weekly meeting of the College Panhellenic Association was held on WEDNESDAY February 4th, 2015 at 4:31pm Present in Voting: Alpha Delta Pi: PRESENT AND VOTING Alpha Xi Delta: PRESENT AND VOTING Delta Phi Epsilon: PRESENT AND VOTING Theta Phi Alpha: PRESENT AND VOTING Sigma Kappa: PRESENT AND VOTING ALPHA DELTA PI motioned to forgo the reading of the past minutes, DELTA PHI EPSILON seconded the motion, the past minutes stand approved as sent by the Vice President of Administration. Guest speakers: Rachel- ANAD “A reminder that this counts for at least 5 community service hours just for registering and showing up and it would be a fantastic sisterhood/Panhel event. We are also having a fun little competition for which chapter has the most amount of walkers present so if FAU’s greek life dominates you could easily win a fun prize! The Alliance is always here to offer speaking presentations, panel discussions, any discussions that chapters on your campus need. PLEASE make sure your roster is up to date so you are charged the correct amount. Payment due two weeks (14 days) after invoices sent out. VP of Communication Philanthropy council meeting is this Sunday at 10 a.m. (previously 11 am) We will be reviewing philanthropy packets for events happening after spring break. Just a reminder that the council includes each chapters delegate AND philanthropy chair. New Business Open Forum Chapter Announcements Alpha Delta Pi: DLC was an amazing time we created new bonds with sisters and learned how to be more of a leader in our positions. Spring Recruitment begins February 10th and continues the rest of the week. We are participating in Viking games for ATO as well as rent a sig for Sigma Chi. Congrats to Theta Phi on receiving new member and having a successful bid day! Alpha Xi Delta: This week were participating in ATO Viking games. We're so excited. Theta Phi Alpha: We had a very successful recruitment last week, welcoming in a total of 10 new members. We have a t-shirt social tonight to bond/get to know the new members even more. We are excited to be participating in ATO's Viking games. Good luck to the other teams. We are really looking forward to our annual philanthropy event starting next week, Theta Phi Cutie Pie. We will be tabling all of next week to sell t-shirts, and tickets to the red dress party. Have a great week!
