Volunteer Role Description Movyans Skolyow Meythrin Commitment: We are seeking qualified and experienced volunteer teacher for adult learners to deliver Cornish lessons. Karenza Facility, Cornwall College Camborne Campus, Pool, Redruth, Cornwall All year round Saturday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 2 hours weekly Duration: ongoing Requirements: Role summary: Movyans Skolyow Meythrin is a Community Interest Company based in Redruth that provides bilingual Saturday preschool to children aged between 2 and 5. The students are the parents and carers of the children attending our bilingual Saturday preschool. Therefore, our volunteer adult teacher will teach the learners to use Cornish at home so as to be able to support their children in their learning of the Cornish language. The volunteer adult teacher will also have to support the parents/carers in designing and producing resources to be used by his colleagues (volunteer Early Years teacher/teaching assistant) in the classroom with the children.
