Friends of the Arts is a community-based organization partnering with Illinois State University’s College of Fine Arts and is governed by a volunteer board comprised of community members who share an appreciation for the arts and education. Friends of the Arts raises over $30,000 in scholarship funds every year to support College of Fine Arts students.
In order to be eligible for the Friends of the Arts Endowment Scholarship, the student must be (1) a new incoming freshman or transfer full time student; (2) a student whose first major is within the College of Fine Arts.
The recipient of the Friends of the Arts Endowment Scholarship will receive $2,500 over the course of their first year within the
College of Fine Arts and $2,500 over the course of their second year within the College of Fine Arts. The student must be in good academic standing and remain a full time student throughout their two years in order to retain this scholarship.
