Introduction:
The Feast has a unique perspective on a diverse sample of young people in Birmingham. While they may
vary widely in faiths, cultures, geographical locations, socio-economic standing and academic performance
and aspiration, they share traits that give us much hope for change and for the future of our city and
country. It is these qualities and achievements which we believe should be celebrated and promoted.
We believe that we work with some remarkable young people, at schools, youthgroups and through our
partner organisations, and are excited to be able to celebrate their achievements with them, their family
and their friends, at our second Youth Awards Night. We hope this evening will lift the aspirations of young
