In consideration of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society allowing my participation in this activity, under the terms set forth herein, I, the RIDER/PARTICIPANT, and the parent or guardian thereof if a minor, do agree to hold Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society harmless and release its officers, coordinators, judges, facilitators, premises owners, insurers, and affiliated organizations from legal liability due to Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society’s ordinary negligence; and I do further agree that except in the event of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society’s gross negligence and willful and wanton misconduct, I shall not bring any claims, demand, legal actions and causes of action, against Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society and/or its associates, for any economic and noneconomic losses due to bodily injury, death, property damage, sustained by me and/or my minor child or legal ward in relation to the premises and operations of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society to include while riding, handling, or otherwise being near horses owned by or in the care, custody and control of Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society. ___________________________________________ ____________ Signature Date By signing the agreement below, I agree to the following terms: That no one aside from me will handle my Training Challenge horse from June 15, 2015 through the Training Challenge date. I agree to trailer my Training Challenge Horse to the Training Challenge at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin, Texas. I agree to foster my Training Challenge Horse for the duration of the Training Challenge and for an additional three months after the Training Challenge unless my foster horse is adopted before then. (Note: This 3 month period does not apply to professional trainers). I agree to abide by the BEHS Minimum Standards of Care, Standard Veterinary Procedures and Veterinary Procedures Policies. I understand that my Training Challenge horse will be offered for adoption at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo. I understand that I may adopt my Training Challenge horse at the Expo for its current adoption fee only if I notify the Adoption Coordinator of my intention at least one week prior to the Training Challenge. Otherwise, my foster horse will be eligible to be adopted by someone else during or after the Training Challenge.
