PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE : Three years of post graduate training (junior residency) at AIIMS in obstetrics &
gynaecology from Jan 2007 to Jan 2010.

Lecturer / Senior Registrar at AIIMS, New-Delhi since Jan 2010 (Present position)
Teaching Experience :- Since 2008 taken regular lectures, tutorials, bed-side clinics, case
presentations for undergraduate medical students, nursing students, anganwadi workers and post
graduate students.
General Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience Highly proficient in routine basic obstetrics and gynaecology work like normal deliveries,
operative vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, minilap ligations, abdominal hysterectomy,
vaginal hysterectomy, non-descent vaginal hysterectomy.
I have also done several fothergills repair, prolapse sling surgeries, myomectomy, nondescent vaginal hysterectomy, recanalisation, open gynaecological oncology surgeries, radical
hysterectomy, and other general gynaecological procedures.
I have also done fetal medicine procedures like CVS, amniocentesis, cordocentesis, cyst
aspiration and fetal reductions. I have assisted in several intrauterine transfusions.
I am also trained in routine obstetric & gynaecological ultrasound and Doppler.
Gynae. Endoscopy experience :I have been especially trained in gynae. endoscopy. I have done several of diagnostic
laparoscopies and hysteroscopies, Laparoscopic tubal ligation, Laparoscopic ovarian drilling,
Laparoscopic
salphingectomy,
Laparoscopic
ovariotomy,
Laparoscopic
cystectomy,
Laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy, total
laparoscopic hysterectomies, and laparoscopic myomectomy. I have also done several
laparoscopic pelvic lymphadenectomies and radical hysterectomies. I have also done many
laparoscopic sling surgeries and laparoscopic tubal recanalisation.
I have also done several operative hysteroscopic procedures like hysteroscopic septal
resection, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, hysteroscopic myomectomy, hysteroscopic cannulation.
I have also assisted in several robotic assisted gynae. cancer surgeries.
I have also been part of operative team in several live operative gynae. endoscopy
workshops in various parts of India.
Course done :- FOGSI ETHISKILLS COURSE conducted at Ethicon Institute of surgical
education under ageis of FOGSI & ICOG in 2007.
Research :1) Thesis titled :- “Use of Letrozole versus clomiphene citrate combined with
gonadotropins in intrauterine insemination cycles.”
2) Randomised trial done from Jan 2010 to Jan 2011 – “Intravaginal versus intracervical
PGE2 gel for induction of labor.”
AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS :
I . HONOURS (>75% MARKS IN MBBS UNIVERSITY EXAM ) : PHYSIOLOGY.
II. Was honoured the special guest of the day at the 16th MTNL Perfect Health Mela 2009
organised by Heart care foundation of India.
III. Was awarded the “Indumati Jahveri Prize” for the best research paper in the scientific
programme at the 53rd AICOG held at Guwahati from 19th to 22nd Jan 2010.
IV. Was the co-author for the best paper presentation on Gynaec. Endoscopy – “Dr. Siuli Rudra
Sinha Prize” at the 53rd AICOG held at Guwahati from 19th to 22nd Jan 2010.
V. Was awarded the 2nd Prize for the best oral paper presentation at the National
Conference on Gynae Endocrinology - 2011 held at New-Delhi on 16-17th April 2011.
VI. Was co-author for the 2nd best poster presentation at the National Conference on Gynae
Endocrinology - 2011 held at New-Delhi on 16-17th April 2011.
