1 Jordon Barros, 7th Grade Ms. Dawson/Ms. Jenkins The Year 2050 It is year 2050 and everyone is now living on Mars because the whole United States is overpopulated; every time it rains, it floods, so everything is getting ruined. My name is Jordan and I am 47 years old and live on Mars with my dog, Diesel. He is a Great Dane and Boxer mixed. Diesel is two years old. Now let me tell you what has been going on in the last few years. Diesel and I are standing on Mars and looking at Earth getting ruined by hurricanes, and the terrorists are taking over the United States. It is a very bad sight to think of if you were down there with them. There are probably one thousand people on Mars, and about twenty spaceships going back and forth picking people up, and picking up food and water, but sometimes the spaceships do not make it back from the United States. I help make the spaceships and next week we have to take a trip to Earth to see what is going on and to see what we can do to help. I wake up at exactly at 5:00 am to get ready for the trip. I asked a friend of mine the night before to watch Diesel while I was on the trip. I then get all of my stuff ready; like my laser blasters, my hover board, ammo, food, water, flashlight batteries, and stuff like that. When we boarded the spaceship the professor started to talk and he said, “We are going to be heading to Florida first and then head northeast. If anything or anyone runs at you, then blast them with a laser, are there any questions.” There was a long 2 pause and then he added, “Alright everybody buckle up.” He told them to go and we hovered up started flying. When we arrived back at Earth, we were about 2,500 feet off of the ground and all you can see is water and people running on roofs and others even shooting at each other. We landed on a roof and started to disembark the space ship, and it was the worst site I have ever seen in my life. There were bodies everywhere, there were people running all around with weapons, there were robots chasing people around; it was just crazy. The Florida that we called the Sunshine State is now under water and is a war zone. We had people taking pictures behind us while we were guarding them. We walked around there watching this horror for about four hours. Thank god nothing or no one has ran at us yet, because this was bad enough. The camera men took over 800 pictures and we still had 2 more cities to go to. We started walking back to the spaceship and when we got there, robots were guarding it. We all pointed our blasters at them and were ready to shoot when the professor yelled, “STOP!” and jumped in front of the bots and said, “They are on our side now. Jimmy programmed them to do what we say now. So they will be okay, come on we need to keep moving.” We boarded the spaceship and hovered up. We hovered over Georgia, and the professor broke the silence and said, “We are going to have to skip Georgia and go right to Tennessee.” There was a long pause, so I said “We can’t professor.” And all of the sudden I got the death stare from everyone on 3 the ship. My stomach just dropped when he said, “Okay if you want to go down there by yourself then go right ahead.” Then I actually took the time to look down there and saw, something even worse than Florida. There were three tornadoes wiping out Georgia and right there with my own eyes I saw all three of them combine and come right at us. The professor yelled, “Get us out of here now!” The ship went straight up and flew away to Tennessee. It was a boring trip, because no one talked to me the whole way there because they said “I almost got them killed.” We arrived there at 4:37 pm and there were robots taking over, people were running around scared for their lives over the robots. After everything I have seen today, this was not bad at all. We walked for a little while until the professor said over the radio that there is no need to waste our time here when this is the least of our problems. We started to head back when I heard a girl crying for help, so I started looking around for her and found her laying to my right holding her stomach. At first I thought she was a robot faking, but I noticed she was pregnant, so I helped her up and brought her to the ship. Then we lifted off and headed back to Mars. When we landed on Mars, everyone started to cheer at us, because we all made it back safely. I told someone to take the girl to get medical. By the time we arrived to the station, the professor had already sent notes back to the station so they already had robots making big indestructible walls to go around the perimeter of Florida, big tornado shields around Georgia, and made a juice to put on robots to turn them good. It took 9 months to finish everything and today was the big day to go put the walls up, put the shield down, and give the robots the juice. So we loaded it all up and the ships took off. 4 We had extra people working on Florida, because of all of the damage. It took about a couple of weeks to finish putting everything up and to get life back together again, except for the robots walking around, robots teaching schools, hovering cars, jet shoes, etc. There are people still living on Mars, like the president, and the people the work for him. I have quit my job and become a millionaire and bought a mansion for me and my dog. We have continued to travel the world and will continue our life.
