The things that we are asked to donate (note the changes) are: footwear bedding dried foods money for travel Wellspring Church is open to receive such items for the DRC - 10-11.30 every Tuesday and Saturday mornings - it's open then anyway for coffee. Items will be stored in the church, from where they'll be collected each week by local co-ordinators. DERBY REFUGEE ADVICE CENTRE Helen Knott has written to express DRAC's gratitude for all your donations: "Many thanks for all the efforts and generous donations you have brought to support refugees [collected at Wellspring Church]. We now have more than enough winter clothing. I will send out a message when we start collecting things for Spring/Summer. In the meantime, if you wish to donate shoes, bedding, dried food or money, these items (only) are still very welcome." Hence the need is for no more clothing, but the other items as in Helen's message. The bags (including clothing) that are there just now will be taken to Derby as transport permits. SHOEBOXES Our two dozen boxes were delivered to Wingerworth last week. Link to Hope are very grateful indeed.
