Phases Planned
Phase one:

A rain garden that will divert run-off water toward a
habitat filled with Michigan-native plants. This habitat

animal diversity.
 Michigan native trees and grasses along the eastern edge
of the property.
Phase two:


A pond habitat located near the rain garden.
An outdoor classroom in the middle of the field with
shelter and workspace for students.
 Replanting of the turf with Buffalo Grass, a native species
that requires little maintenance.
