Dr. Tony Forshey currently is Chief of the Division of Animal Health, Ohio
Department of Agriculture. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from The Ohio State University in June,
1977. Dr. Forshey practiced veterinary medicine for 27 years with a major interest in swine production involving much of the Midwest. He has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, College of
Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine for the past 10 years.
Dr.Hockman is currently the Chief of the Division of Meat Inspection, Ohio
Department of Agriculture. Upon graduation from the college of Veterinary
Medicine in 1966 he joined the U.S.D.A., Food Safety and Inspection
Service holding many progressively more responsible positions. In 1997 he left U.S.D.A. to become the Assistant Chief of Meat Inspection. He was promoted to chief in 1995. Dr. Hockman has served the OVMA as a

Dr. Susan Skorupski received her DVM from The Ohio State University and is the Area Veterinarian in Charge for Ohio and West Virginia with USDA,
APHIS Veterinary Services. Previously, she served as Area Epidemiologist for the Ohio/West Virginia area, field Veterinary Medical Officer in several sections of OH, and Assistant AVIC in Indiana. Dr. Skorupski started her career in USDA with FSIS. Prior to government service, she was in a mixed animal practice doing predominantly dairy practice.
Dr. Kathy Smith graduated from The Ohio State University College of

Health since 1988. Within the Bureau of Infectious Diseases, Dr. Smith supervises the Zoonotic Disease Program. The Zoonotic Disease Program deals with those diseases that are transmitted from animals to man such as rabies and WNV.
