We will be spending time over the next few weeks revisiting these expectations. It would be encouraging to have families have discussions with their child about the importance of following the expectations and being a good example to their peers. Thank you so much for your support. Supplies: Our class is in need of some school supplies again. We need glue sticks, pencils, and dry erase markers please. Thank you so much in advance. We definitely appreciate any and all donations. Common Core Math: I am aware some parents have been frustrated with Common Core Math. It is new to all of us and it is taking some adjusting as your child is in their new math groups this quarter. You should no longer have your child be taking home “extra math homework”. If you are having trouble explaining the math to your child here is a link that might help answer any questions you have. http://commoncore.org/parents IXL: Your child’s login is their first initial followed by their last name. Their password is 123. Please go to https://www.ixl.com/signin/coronado as the main IXL login site will not work. ** All students are in the system now, so if your child’s username and password aren’t working please let me know.
