FORMAT: BJA Four Star (Points Scoring where appropriate) Tournament Licence. 4 mats will be in use.
Eligibility
All British competitors must have a current BJA licence or equivalent and wear white judogi.
All overseas entrants must hold current membership of their IJF affiliated national governing body.
Proof of age is required – passport, driving licence or national identity card are acceptable .

Female 1st Kyu & above:
F1 30-39 yrs : - 48 -52 -57 -63 -70 -78 +78kg
F2 40-49 yrs : -48 -52 -57 -63 -70 -78 +78kg
F3 50+ yrs :

Kyu Grade Masters 2nd Kyu & below:

Female competitors must provide their weight category and their exact weight please.

Kyu Grade Masters 2nd Kyu & below:

Combining Categories :
Where there are 3 or fewer players in a category , the category may be combined with another category .
The general policy is to combine age divisions rather than weight groups .
Where there are insufficient players in an age band over 45 years , age bands may be combined
WEIGHING IN
M1-M3 : 9:00am to 9:30
All females : 12:00 noon to 12:30 pm
M4-M9 : 10:00am to 10:30 am
MK1 & MK2 1:00pm to1:30 pm
Notes All competitors must wear white judogi .
The competition will be compound repechage , or pools if less than 8 players . All competitors will get at least two contests
Wherever possible .
Medals
Medal presentations will take place throughout the day . Medals will only be given for categories which have been contested .
Players must win a contest to gain a medal : if there are fewer than 5 players in a category , the number of medals awarded will be
One less than the number of players .
Points Scoring and Grading
Level Four Event – Full IJF contest rules . the event is point scoring for BJA dan grade promotions .
Win by wazari or ippon against players of same grade or higher from IJF countries during the competition
Will count for promotion purposes .
