FROM THE MERIT COLLECTION
New own label furniture collection for independent
interiors store
Inspirational interiors store Arighi Bianchi is launching a number of new
ranges from its own label Merit Collection, comprising of sofas, dining sets,
beds and bedroom furniture. Merit Collection products meet all the store’s
renowned design and performance quality, but at surprisingly affordable
prices.
The first new range to emerge from the Merit stable is the classically beautiful, Ercol inspired Isola range of dining
and occasional pieces which is defined by its refreshing look and bold styling. Strikingly designed to fit seamlessly
into classic and contemporary settings, high-grade materials and functional finishing touches. Crafted from a
combination of oak veneers and sculpted solid oak legs, products include the Isola console table (£399) lamp table
(£199), entertainment unit (£345), wide sideboard (£699), wide mirror (£129), coffee table (£349), dining table
(£455), upholstered chair (£199) and bookcase (£699).

Since 1854, Arighi Bianchi has supplied furniture across the
North West from its Grade 2* listed Macclesfield home, a
former Silk Mill, counting royalty, high society and local
businesses among its customers. The store was founded by
Antonio Arighi, who travelled from Italy by foot and by
toboggan over the Alps to reach Macclesfield. Family
member and cabinet-maker Antonio Bianchi joined him soon
after, and an interiors dynasty was born.
Arighi Bianchi has always imported quality stylish furniture
from all over the world, sending it to customers all over the UK. Edward the Seventh and Princess Alexandra were
among the store’s first royal customers and the receipts for their purchases are held in the company’s archives.
