Demonstrated ability to organize an international group of presenters (eg., having access to a range of psychologists from different countries). 3.Evidence of interest in, and participation in international psychology APPENDIX Guidelines for nominating Canadian invited speakers and symposia convenors at International Congresses of Psychology Adopted by the CNC/IUPsyS at its June 2008 Meeting Invited Speakers (Keynote and State of the Art) Nominations should take the following criteria into account (in order of importance): 1. High academic and/or professional standing in psychology. 2. Strong record of contributions to Canadian psychology. 3. Evidence of interest in, and participation in international psychology (e.g., involved in international research, international congress participation, service as a CPA delegate to an international NGO). 4. Not having been selected to be an ICP speaker in the past 2 congresses. 5. List of nominations should have a broad representation of subfields of psychology. 6. List of nominations should have a broad representation of persons by language, region and ethnicity. Invited Symposia Conveners Nominations should take the following criteria into account (in order of importance): 1. High academic and/or professional standing in psychology. 2. Demonstrated ability to organize an international group of presenters (e.g., having access to a range of psychologists from different countries). 3. Evidence of interest in, and participation in international psychology (e.g., involved in international research, international congress participation, service as a CPA delegate to an international NGO). 4.
